Waghdan came from Iraq and quietly stole the hearts of all who met her.
She rarely spoke and was content to sit in a corner and watch the world go by.
I felt as if I already knew her.
It struck me then that here I was later in my career and I was watching a watcher.

It seems that photographers see the world as a child would. With new eyes, always asking what? why? how?

To watch; being watched; just being in the same "space" When I hold my camera, I sometimes look for a reflection and watch myself watching me.
